Day One

Location: Outside Esplanade
Setting: Quite Packed
Weather: Drizzle

Day One was alright. Didn't know what to expect from the fireworks. Met up with Juhardi, Lutfi, MC and her partner, Dal and his partner. France showed off their display of fireworks way over the stated time probably due to the rain. Didn't have a cable release for the Canon EOS 40D I borrowed from Siddiq, so the turn out of the pictures wasn't as good as I hoped for. Out of 36 pictures, I only had one or two good ones.

Day Two

Location: Open field near IR
Setting: Packed with Photographers
Weather: Raining heavily, wet and cold

Day Two was the bomb. Going through the pictures from the first day and visiting clubsnap, I picked up a few tricks. Instead of using "Blub Mode", I just used a long shutter speed to compensate for the lack of a cable release. Met up with Juhardi, Lutfi and this time brought Issy along. We went over to the premium spot for the fireworks for photographers to snap. It was cold. It was raining. It was shitty. But it paid off! Out of 47 pictures, about 6 were good!
